DUI check point_2(1)Because the Florida Supreme Court has mandated prior announcement of selective law enforcement activities, the Broward Sheriff’s Office has issued a press release stating that DUI Task Force and district personnel, along with with police other agencies and surrounding municipalities, will be conducting a DUI sobriety checkpoint operation tonight at 3600 W. Commercial Blvd.  The press release states that law enforcement personnel will be actively enforcing DUI laws and looking to identify impaired drivers.

Drivers will be randomly stopped.  If cops smell alcohol on a driver’s breath, they’re getting arrested!  It’s always best not to drink and drive.  When going out always use a designated driver. Don’t let a night out on the twn turn in to a DUI nightmare!
