Hani Demetrious has been practicing criminal law since 2005. He began his career as a prosecutor in Monroe County, Florida. Hani soon realized his heart was defense-oriented and spent years working as a public defender and for the office of regional conflict counsel. He joined the Law Offices of Robert David Malove in 2022.
Hani is a graduate of American University, Washington College of Law. He is lead counsel on all postconviction and appeal cases. His efforts in postconviction litigation have saved our clients many years. Hani has litigated cases in all six of Florida's district courts of appeal, the Florida Supreme Court, all three of Florida's U.S. district courts, and fought for postconviction relief from Key West to Pensacola and many places in between.
