I really don’t know what to say or where to begin.  It is indeed a rare thing to come across a person, let alone an attorney, who understands what it is for someone to be in a desperate situation.  Attorney Robert Malove is that person!

I was visiting Miami from Sao Paulo, Brazil.  I was waiting for a friend and had some time to kill at the Aventura Mall.  I made the biggest mistake of my life and got arrested for felony shoplifting.  Thanks to G-d I had the very good fortune to be referred to attorney Robert Malove for help.  Mr. Malove is a pro!  Robert took control of my situation and arranged for my bond to be posted the second I was booked into the jail.

Mr. Malove met with me the next day and explained to me that because I was not a US citizen and did not reside in the country, that I would not be eligible to enroll in the diversion program.  I had no defense to my case.  The video caught me red-handed.  This meant that I would be barred for the rest of my life from re-entering the US after returning to Brazil.

Mr. Malove was able to convince the prosecutor to offer an alternative disposition.  The prosecutor finally agreed that after six months from the date of the entry of my plea, that the case would go back before the judge and the state would move to vacate the judgment and move dismiss the case.  Under these circumstances I would be able to have my record expunged and be able to re-enter the US.
